The Mommy Rants is a one-act play that lasts approximately 1 hour. Humorous and touching, it explores all the insane things that happen when you become a mother and the experiences no one dares to talk about.

Sonia Justl /Ann Sonia first performed as a kid in her self-written backyard masterpieces in her home country of Brazil. She was soon recruited to to be a child voice-over artist for a Brazilian cartoon company, which set her on the path to pursue entertainment as her career! She has since performed roles around the globe. She has also appeared in numerous local and national commercials (including Superbowl Revlon commercial with Sheryl Crow, Suzuki and Theater Visions), and has been spotted as a mascot for several nationally recognized characters. Sonia just moved to Denver, CO, after getting married to her childhood buddy this winter.

Toni Bradford/Karen The Mommy Rants is Toni's third show at Theatre O: she was a dancer in Dead Man's Cellphone, The Little Coochie Snorcher that Could and the co-director of The Vagina Monologues. Since moving to Colorado a little over a year ago she has played Carla, Mrs. Gibson and Anna in Passion, Promises, Promiscuity; Portia in The Shakespeare Brothers and Julie in Giving Voices production of Mirror Images.







Michelle Kaye/Ginny A local actor, voice over talent and dancer – as well as a counselor, therapist and teacher – some of Michelle's favorite roles have most recently been with No Holds Bard Shakespeare Company: Hecate (Macbeth), Olivia (Twelfth Night), and Beatrice (Much Ado About Nothing). Additional favorite roles have included Tracy Lord in The Philadelphia Story with Curious Theater, Dona Maria Elvira De Flores in Don Juan in Chicago with Industrial Arts Theater, and Suzanne in Picasso at the Lapin Agile with the Avenue Theater. She dedicates this performance to her Mom who made every day something to celebrate.
Clint Findley/Jason Clint rediscovered his love for acting after moving to the Boulder area in 2000. He has appeared in numerous shows with the Upstart Crow and in short movies when he attended Colorado Film School. After completing his education at CFS he has produced an award winning short film 'Attrition' and has his next film 'Carma' due out in summer of 2010.
Andrea Romano/Becky Andrea is a recent graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, College of Performing Arts. Her most recent productions include Dead Man's Cell Phone, The Vagina Monologues, and Cabaret. She is an actor, singer, director, and an aspiring ukulele player. She is honored to be in the company of such strong, talented women both on-stage and off. Happy Mother's Day, Mom!







Kristin Erickson Powers/Maggie This marks Kristin's first performance at Theatre O, and her first full production since returning from a two-year adventure in the UK. While in the UK, she performed in two separate “fringe theatre” productions of A Great Undertaking in Little America : she was in the show's world premiere in Bristol and also reprised her role on stage in London. Over the years in Denver, she has worked with Hunger Artists (Stage Door, Largo Desolato, War, Tongue of a Bird ), the Denver Victorian Theatre (Lovers, A Life), and the Morrison Theatre Company (Twelve Angry Men, To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday) and she has worked with the playwrights of Chameleon Stage in many productions of new scripts, as well.










Annie Li/Aunt Paula

Over the past 25 years, Annie has performed in numerous critically acclaimed shows throughout the Denver area. Some of her personal favorites have included Artie in Eleemosynary (Awarded - Best Actress in a 4-state region), Hold-out Juror 8 in Twelve Angry Men (Nominated - Best Ensemble Show by the Denver Theater Critics' Circle), Dr. Livingstone in Agnes of God, Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Mindy in Five Women Wearing the Same Dress and, most recently, radio psychologist Dr. Lil in the psychological thriller, Voices in the Dark at the Denver Victorian Playhouse earlier this year. Another of Annie's most beloved acting experiences is when she works with Random Acts of Theater, under the direction of Angela Foster. Random Acts allows for intimate and wonderfully personal comedic and dramatic interludes with the audience. Annie is proud to be a founding member of Random Acts.

Angela has been lucky to have Directed /Assistant Directed numerous productions from Broadway to Off-Broadway and beyond. She is the proud mommy to two very spoiled dogs and an old cat. Angie is very thankful to have been part of Mommy Rants from conception to birth – congratulations Christie and Connie. Happy Mother's day to all.
